ATTN: We apologize for a typo. If you downloaded our chocolate chip cookie recipe prior to 12/27/25, the version you have contains an error. It calls for one tablespoon of salt when it should call for 1 ½ teaspoons of salt. We are very sorry.
Friends of Tin Pan: As promised, we are going to use this website to post some of our more popular recipes, so you can make these at home if you like. Please feel free to email any questions or suggestions of future recipes to elise@tinpanbakery.com. We are going to start with the absolute favorite which is the chocolate chip cookie recipe. We aim to post a new recipe every week.
I’ve done my best to make this suitable for home cooks. To be honest, sometimes it’s hard to know what makes sense to a home cook and what seems like gibberish. If something is confusing, definitely let me know so I can fix it for next time.
